About the Artist
Born in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona, Savannah Allred is an artist living and working in Provo, Utah. She will graduate with a BA in Studio Art from Brigham Young University in 2025.
Allred’s practice draws from personal imagery and symbols to explore self-identity, memory, and the human experience. Her work blends digital and tactile mediums—such as oil painting and resin sculptures—to bridge the past and present, capturing the ephemeral nature of memory. A sense of layered discovery and introspection runs through her compositions, weaving together the visible and invisible forces that shape identity.
Her work embraces contrasts: the personal and the universal, the sacred and the mundane, and the tangible and intangible. Allred sees art as a process of reconciliation, uncovering meaning through the intersection of life’s fragmented histories and the ongoing search for self.
